About Alex
Alex is an explorer, with a natural curiosity and hunger for experience - and food. As a results Alex is always asking “what if…?” and then throwing himself into the pursuit of answers. This way of living has sent Alex on a series of adventures that continue to teach him about life and the importance of communicating effectively.
Alex's adventures have taken him all over the world and through a series of exciting opportunities, including: studying music production in New York City at Quad Recording Studios; helping to launch a public television station in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, called PPMTV; filming and editing the most amazing wedding films with Hindsight Video; and running the day-to-day for an internet radio station in Glasgow. Brief experience in Sales quickly led to an analysis position with a British Telecom affiliate sales office. Now Alex is working as a Data Engineer with a Marketing firm in Edinburgh.
Alex’s experience with Music, Terrestrial Radio, Internet Radio, TV and Film gives him a strong understanding of how to communicate. Experience analysing messages and their effects on sales adds the dimension of knowing what to communicate.
Alex’s goal is to combine all of this experience in order to collect and structure data, in order to answer difficult questions and help companies communicate effectively.
